Tires have been out of sunlight and kept full but should be inspected. The towed weight is so small (roughly 3000 lb) I never needed to use the brakes so they are essentially never-used since installing, but old in years, standard electric brakes on the front axle. The brakes should be inspected and cleaned if they are going to be used. The trailer axle bearings should be cleaned, inspected and repacked with fresh grease. I had not painted it for many years, simply washed it once a year with excellent results. If routinely used in salt water and it is not practical to haul out on the trailer twice a year to clean it, then it is useful, but if in fresh water there is no need for it at all. Antifouling paint is expensive, newer formulations mostly ineffective, and wears out rapidly, which is why I stopped using it. (A standard marine paint that covers and lasts well).įor cosmetics only Clean and paint the bottom with normal deck paint - NOT antifouling- because it is very simple to pull out on the trailer and pressure wash it clean once a year. If the various lamps were to be replace with LED one could use it for a month of camping without trouble on a single charge. I used a cheap trickle charger to keep the battery full at the dock and had many day's use camping without trouble. Not a priority a it really didn't work very well and has been disconnected for many years. The connector for the 12v battery charge line to the Honda outboard is broken and needs to be replaced. The Honda fuel primer bulb on the fuel line is getting old and stiff and should be replaced. I will give the unopened spray cans to the buyer with the boat. I have headliner adhesive for reattaching the headlining and insulation but have not performed the work. The bottom is in need of paint but shows no blisters or damage. The interior includes insulation and a headliner.
